There are many studies that have given people a bit of license on eating chocolate. Certain compounds in chocolate do one thing, other chemicals do another. But just what are these chemicals, and why do they help?
The chocolate-making industry has been alive and well for at least a century and a half now. It is likely that, as of this writing, millions of chocolate bars in all varieties from various companies have been sold over the years, all around the world. Some are from big companies like Mars, Hershey, Ghirardelli, Godiva and other well-known names that make and sell chocolate with ingredients or farming processes that may or may not be good for the planet or the human body.
